The Intersection of ADR, ABA, and Body Language in the IEP Process FULL
Limited Capacity full

Parents and guardians often enter the IEP process uncertain of what to expect. They may feel nervous, and unprepared. If not appropriately and compassionately handled these sentiments may lead to feelings of frustration, or distress. Team members have the capacity to change this. Using ADR, Applied Behavior Analysis, and positive body language throughout the IEP process will encourage the development of trusting, transparent and respectful relationships which will in turn lead to positive student outcomes. Presentation will include ppt., videos and interactive activities.
