Dispute Prevention in the Context of Systems Change FILLING
Limited Capacity filling up

Dispute prevention has never been more necessary than in our current time and context. Systems are changing within communities and families, schools and partner agencies. This presentation will provide insight in navigating disputes from top to bottom, and bottom to top. Through education and interactive engagement, this session will explore the continuum of dispute prevention and effective parallel processes outside of the IEP process. The presenters will dive into trauma impacts at the systems level, acknowledging that we are experiencing not only families in crisis, but systems impacted by trauma effects and in need of an effective menu of care. Strategies to address this systems change will be provided, and will include regional examples of plans which support parent, school and agency partnerships.
