Reconcilable Differences: Impartial Education Liaisons Are an Essential Component of a Sustainable ADR Program FULL
Limited Capacity full

Disagreements between parents and school-based agents are common within schools; particularly, during the IEP process. Conflict can become a distraction when the communication and engagements between these stakeholders ceases to focus on the student learner and becomes about hurt feelings and out- or over-powering the other. In this interactive session, participants will learn how, what and why an Impartial Education Liaison (IEL) who is called, skilled and willed to build bridges is one of the key components of a sustainable ADR program that fulfills the purpose of creating conditions for the student learner to achieve in the learning environment.
