Dr. Howana Lundy has been working in education for 21  years. She earned her B.A. in History and Sociology with a  minor in African Studies at UCLA, M.A. in Education in  Claremont Graduate University, and her Doctorate of  Education at USC. She has had proven success in moving schools in diverse environments. She was a founding Charter Principal and has served as an administrator in Pasadena USD and San Bernardino City USD. She is currently the Director of the Special Education Department at SBCUSD while serving as a co-chair of SELPA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and ACSA Administrator Leadership Coach for Clear Credential. Her experience encompasses proposing, developing, and managing educational programs and improvements, school-wide discipline policy, administrative procedures and learning environment activities.
